what is strawb?

strawb is a pastebin website where users can make pastes using HTML and CSS exclusively. you can view more about it here (if you are not logged in). strawb is invite only and was only intended to be used by me and people i trust.
strawb is also a fork of pastryng made by marcy and trisua. all code credit goes to them! :o)
i am still a beginner in coding, so my additions might not look the best. strawb is still a work in progress!

why did you make strawb?

i have joked about making a pastebin with my friends before but i decided to actually #lock in and make one... i won't give names, but the previous pastebins i used either had "questionable" owners or shut down too early. making my own pastebin (even with pre made code from an open source) was very hard! but in the end it was very rewarding...

why is strawb invite only? will it stay invite only forever?

yes! the code i used already had invite codes implemented, but i wouldnt feel comfortable making strawb public anyway. to me, a lot of pastebin sites have really toxic communities... so i wanted to make strawb for me, my friends, and people we trust only. please understand that! (& i am aware that not all pastebin users are insane, please dont feel offended!!)
